WebFivesIt seems that getting a piece of “Facebook action” is just not enough for Microsoft’s social networking plans. Now, they went ahead acquiring technology from web and mobile social networking service WebFives. In case you’re not familiar with WebFives, it’s a social network focused on mobile content like videos, music and photos; that allows users to access their site both via computer or using a mobile phone.

Anyway, as a result of acquisition (we don’t have a dollar figure), WebFives will be closing its virtual doors to the end-users, who should now (according to WebFives) start using MSN Spaces and/or Windows Live for their social networking experience. Guess that was also included in the price… ;)
