Palm launches Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrade for AT&T Treo 750 owners! The WM6 upgrade is finally live!

If we sound a bit excited to hear that Palm (NSDQ: PALM) has finally gone live with their Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrade for AT&T (NYSE: T) Palm Treo 750 owners, it’s because we are. It’s been a helluva long wait, fraught with false launch-windows, rumors, and leaked ROM files – but it’s finally here. Palm launched their WinMo6.0 upgrade for AT&T Palm Treo 750 handsets a little over an hour ago, and you can grab it here.
AT&T Palm Treo 750 owners still holding their breath for the Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrade can finally breathe a sigh of relief. The official (it sure is nice to finally say it) Windows Mobile 6.0 upgrade ROM is available from Palm’s downloads page – here.

Download the latest Windows Mobile® 6 Professional software update for the Palm Treo 750 that updates the entire operating system from Windows Mobile® 5.0 to Windows Mobile® 6 Professional plus adds HSDPA support, AT&T Mall, AT&T Music, MEdia Net, CV (video) and many other updates and fixes. CAUTION: Firmware updates will DELETE ALL applications, data, and settings on the device. Back up all information on a PC or storage card before installing the firmware upgrade.
