Nokia 3110 Evolves into environment friendly device

Almost every single company in the world wants to be affiliate with environment friendly activities. Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is not an exception, hence they’ve announced the “Evolved” version of its 3110 Classic handset, emphasizing just how green this feature phone is. Apparently, the new 3110 Evolve sports bio-covers “made from more than 50% renewable material.” The device is presented in a small package made of 60% recycled content and it comes with Nokia’s most energy efficient charger yet, “using 94% less energy than the Energy Star requirements.”

As for the specs, we’ve already said it’s a feature phone – so don’t expect much on this front. There’s the 1.3 MP camera, FM radio, tri-band GSM radio, and the good ol’ Series 40 UI. And in case you’re wondering, we don’t know when it will be available nor how much it will cost once it hits the markets.
