even though it's a nice phone, I found contradictions on the tech specs for it. Supposedly on some sites for the same model, the phone supports all 4 GSM bands: 850/900/1800/1900 in addition to the CDMA mode exclusive for sprint. Sadly, when I received my S.ACE phone, it says that it only supports GSM 900/1800 bands.

I did not think it'd be a problem, but I am now traveling internationally and the SIM card for the local provider is useless as it works only under the 850MHz band. For a phone that cost me a pretty penny, being stuck with international cdma roaming is pretty upsetting. I've been forced to get an additional GSM phone to support this frequency.

If there is a way to unlock or alter the bands on the ACE, I'll be more than happy to hear about it. And aside from this little problem, the phone itself is great. I absolutely love it, aside from this issue.
