iPhoneDevTeam releases source code for AnySIM iPhone unlock tool

iPhone unlock tool AnySIM goes open sourceIt’s one thing to call a piece of software “open source and an entirely different thing to actually make the code “open source.” The iPhoneDevTeam’s iPhone unlocking tool, dubbed AnySIM, has been called an open-source application, but the source code wasn’t widely available. Well, in the spirit of the holiday’s, the iPhone-hacking consortium has gone and released the source-code for the AnySIM – consider it a really geeky early-Christmas present.
Adventurous iPhone hackers can find the code on the iPhoneDevTeam’s Google Code webpage. An outsider’s perspective might be just the inspiration we need to find a working unlock solution for the iPhone v1.1.2.
