Meet 1 of Nokia’s 300 designers, the creator of the 6500 series, Anton Fahlgren

Australian IT has an article profiling the creator of the Nokia 6500 Classic and Slide, Anton Fahlgren. He talks about what design is to him and how the meaning of the word has evolved through time to include not only the exterior design of a product, but the interaction that takes place on the screen as well. Arguments with engineers and designers happen, but at the end of the day they’re all one big happy family.
Get the guy who made the 8600 Luna to make the next Nseries flagship and you’ll win a lot of hearts. Mine at least.

Thanks for the heads up. I’m Australian, I read The Australian, but this one slipped under my radar.
I too get a kick out of hearing about the people behind the products.

It’s cool seeing the people behind the scenes. And I strongly agree: Why not get these guys to design the Nseries devices? I’m tired of my phones feeling like a piece of expensive plastic -
