Famous Finnish designer Ristomatti Ratia creating a fashion phone with Nokia and Tommy Hilfiger

You’re just going to have to trust this translation from Finnish website Kauppalehti, but it essentially says that Ristomatti Ratia previously stated he was working on a concept model for Nokia (NYSE: NOK) and Tommy Hilfiger, but when the journalists contacted him he would not confirm nor deny the allegations. That is a sure fire way of saying “I can’t say yes, but my answer is yes.”
Samsung has Armani, LG has Prada, Samsung has Levi Straus, Motorola (NYSE: MOT) has Dolce and Gabbana, about time Nokia got some fashion sense. I would have preferred to see something from Hugo Boss, but that is just a personal preference.

True,
I think Nokia have been a little left behind haven’t they? All the big guns have gone. I don’t think those two brands really compliment each other do they?
Oh nice seems that Jorma Ollila is going to lead EU’s group of wise men. Did read next to Kauppalehti report about this TommyH news
nokia have worked with 2 major fashion designers in the past:
mark eley from eley kishimoto in the uk and zac posen in the usa both on the 7600…my favorite phone!

Some time ago I came by a rumour that Nokia was making a phone with Gucci, but really that was just a sentence somewhere, possibly at some fashion site, can’t remember at all. Tommy Hillfiger is certainly not a favourite of mine, but I guess his name sells to certain demographic.
