Orb set to support iPhone – remotely access your media with the iPhone

Orb is reportedly getting ready to announce their support for the iPhone. With some fancy web-browser magic and a little data-transferring, Orb will let you place-shift your entire music collection from the massive hard drive you have in your desktop-rig to your iPhone.

Orb’s WinAmp plug-in or stand-alone application will stream your home computer’s entire music library to your iPhone, giving you virtually unlimited storage space for music on your precious mobile phone.     This is news?? Because Orb works on the iphone….but hold on…it worked on almost every single other phone for a couple of years now!?? Ridiculous! Just because it says iphone its news!? I am so so tired of iphone non news stories!
