Hi there, the speed on the mobile is the same. Well it seems fast. Fast searching seek times on Divx movies with Smart Movie etc.

Its a recommend upgrade by me too.

I got myself a class 4 8gb mirco SD. And the card is very fast when using the usb mircosd reader. around 13mb sec transfer. I can movies on there etc in no time.

However using the usb cable its under 1 mb a sec transfer. Takes forever!

by “fixed” i meant in future models. the card reader is built into my laptop, chances are it is connected via an internal usb connection, but it may be something else. not sure.

This isue can’t be “fixed” due the lack of high speed usb 2.0 support of the N82.

@Steve_R: The card reader was surely connected by USB, too. So you should question Nokia why they use outdated hardware in their flagship devices.
