A guy turns his Sony Ericsson W52S into an iPhone

With all those highly advanced phones, we thought Japanese won’t buy into all the iPhone hype. And while we’re not sure whether Apple will be able to repeat its success from the U.S. market, we’ve spotted a Japanese guy who seemed so desperate to get an iPhone that he made his already uber-cool Sony Ericsson W52S slider look like Apple’s handset. As you can clearly see from the image above, the end result is a weird device to say the least, and we can only hope at least he likes it… Cause we don’t.

The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application. Looks bad, but you can’t blame the guy for trying. With the way SE is churning out mediocre handsets, that phone is probably glad it is now an “apple” phone -
