Nokia 3555 spotted on FCC; Heading to AT&T AND T-Mobile

It was the end of October when we first saw the Nokia 3555 and we though it’s will be the AT&T (NYSE: T) thing only. Today, I am happy — yes, happy — to report that we were wrong. Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s low-end 3G clamshell was spotted at the FCC’s website from where we’ve learned it will also end up in T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s portfolio. The right frequency is there (1700MHz), and now it’s just a matter of patience — which we’re slowly losing — to wait for the Deutsche Telekom (NYSE: DT) owned mobile operator to finally roll out its 3G network in the States…

The SIM unlock code is a numeric code that users enter on the handset to unlock it so that the handset can be used with another SIM card from another carrier (also known as “foreign SIM”). For example, to use a Cingular SIM on a T-Mobile handset, the user must first enter the unlock code to unlock the handset.
Procedures to Unlock:
Press # on the keypad.
Quickly press the asterisk key (*) three times. You will see #p on the display.
Quickly press the asterisk key (*) four times. You will see #pw on the display.
Quickly press the asterisk key (*) twice. You will see #pw+ on the display.
Enter the unlock code.
Quickly press the asterisk key (*) twice. You will now see #pw+unlock code+ on the display.
Press the number 1 key and #. The handset is now unlocked.
