The 2008 CES summed up in one picture

In less than 12 hours I’ll be on an excruciatingly long plane ride back to Finland where it will take the weekend to recover from the good times that were had in Las Vegas. What about CES? After coming to about 4 or 5 of these things I can honestly say this one was the worst. It was so bad I even started asking cab drivers what they thought about it and they too agreed that the magic that used to fill the Las Vegas air during this week just wasn’t here this year. This CES goes so far as to make me wonder if I’ll even come to CES again.
As I was walking around today taking my final snap shots (Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s booth tour will be posted soon) I stumbled across this old man asleep on a bench. He represents the men and women who are tired after trekking the 1.8 million square feet of show floor space trying to find something interesting, yet failing miserably:

Well, I’m a little jealous still. But, these type of shows can still be very tiresome.
trust me, if you’re having fun, then these shows don’t bog you down. it was so hard to stay awake because nothing was interesting. nothing.
That explains why I didn’t want to wake up in the morning
