Ya I got an unlocked Q9h from newegg.com and activated it with t-mobile. I got the internet working but when I installed google maps, no gps. I have installed lots of these fixes but I am looking for somebody who made gps work on an unlocked Q9h with t-mobile
From what I have read in other forums there is a built in gps receiver. I am just looking for a driver or a registry entry that will activate it. I have played with the com ports and all of the gps activation applications. I am trying everything that I can think of to activate the gps any help will get you access to my FTP server with all kinds of cool programs email me Steve660@Gmail.com

I tried both softwares too. The only way that Google maps appeared to be recieving a GPS signal was when I set both the app from this page and GM to the automatic setting. My location was still no better than 1700m. This defeats the purpose of GPS.

I downloaded this and the GPS activator application that came first. It didn't seem to work after I first installed it. I tried to remove it and then re-install, but after reinstalling, the GPSID app gives me a message "Failed to update GPS driver" when I try to change the settings. I am still unable to connect to any GPS satellites. In Google maps it says "Initializing GPS... " and then gives an error that the "GPS receiver does not appear to be responding." Any help would be greatly appeciated.
