When you think about it, you shouldn’t be surprised that David Lynch doesn’t like the idea of watching a movie on the iPhone. The famous American filmmaker, painter and who knows what else argues “you will never experience a film on a telephone.” He continues, “it’s a such a sadness that you think you’ve seen a film on your f*ckin telephone. Get real!” Yeah, he’s hilarious… a bit. Enjoy the short video! :)

    There’s Lynch’s favorite word again.

It’s in every film ‘experience’ that he’s ever done. Short of Dune. But, then I said it when I saw Stink playing Feyd Rautha! WTF!

David Lynch didn’t say “iPhone”, he said TELEHONE. This video is anti-ihone propaganda.

So, I wonder how many inches wide the screen has to be before you can consider that you’ve “experienced” a movie? Not that I would watch movies on a cell phone either.
