weredoomedces Gizmodo with 10 reasons why CES was horrible

Or as I like to call it: 10 reasons why I’m skipping CES 2009. In less than a month I’ll be in Spain for Mobile World Congress and I hope, really hope, that it will make up for the next to meaningless trip to Vegas. Have any of you been to 3GSM? What did you like, what did you hate, would you go again?

Why don’t you talk to Gizmodo about their stupid prank? I can understand about shutting off displays on the floor, but doing so during a live presentation? what a bunch of assholes. Sorry, but I refuse to read whatever Gizmodo publishes now. A bunch of spineless jerks.

  2. i left a comment, i don’t agree with their prank at all.

    Hey Stefan,

I’ll be in Barcelona for the third time now. It’s really, really worth it. Make sure you arrive at least a day or so early (some press conferences are on sunday, the day before the congress officially starts) and enjoy!

Unlike CES and CeBIT 3GSM, or GSMA Mobile World Congress, is NOT a consumer fair so you get to see the really good stuff, way before it comes to the stores. But also new technologies in development, (mobile) software, services and, thankfully, NO Carriers trying to push their plan’s or whatsoever ;-) ))

Mail me if you want to meet up in Barca!

    Ciao Stefan,

I will see you in Barcelona!
3GSM is great, a lot to see from big and small companies. If you are in the mobile space you must at least once go to see 3GSM

Gizmodo lost any shred of credibility they ever had when they pulled their stupid prank – this list of reasons not to go to CES are a pre-emptive strike for when they are banned from next years event.

I won’t be visiting Gizmodo again – I hope they’re proud of themselves and rapdily disappear from the web. Twats.

Stefan,… Barcelona worths the visit… 3gsm is just a part of the party…
