Rogers Wireless to offer Nokia N95?

Our Canadian readers who love Nokia (NYSE: NOK) smartphones will be pleased to know that the Nokia N95 may be coming to the country. Apparently, the GPS and 5 MP camera equipped Nokia smartphone was spotted in the drop-down menu on Rogers (NYSE: RCI) Wireless’ game downloads site, giving some hope Canadians may soon get a chance to experience Nokia’s all-in-one wonder — that’s in case they haven’t already bought the unlocked device.

However, we are not sure whether Rogers will carry the North American edition (NAM) which comes with better battery and more available RAM, or the “old” N95 which lacks these very important features. In case you find yourself interested in purchasing the N95, make sure both the proper battery and enough RAM (128 MB) is on the device. Otherwise, wait a bit for the real thing. The N95 8GB perhaps?

Great if Rogers come with this good computerphone

  2. Michael says:

The N95 is no longer appearing on the drop-down menu. I am sad to say, but this is not the first time that a drop-down menu at the Rogers website has listed a great phone that Rogers did not release.

    But here’s to hoping!

  3. newtype2011 says:

Good for Rogers customers, bad for everyone who wants the phone to stay exclusive. Many people do not want every mom and 13 year old boy to have their device

    newtype2011,

Most people wouldn’t shell out the money for this phone. Only people who truly appreciate what the ugliest phone in the world can do would ever spend money on it. I wan it to come to Rogers.
