Oh, but they have these fast processors, so they can't be slow, it says so on the specs - so that stands to reason! And it says in all the press- releases from nokia that their units are breaking new ground and offering an improved user experience. Specially, the conductive rubber in the 3.5mm jacks are gloriously hifi, and should be a breathtaking experience. Furthermore, everyone who don't know how to compare with anything else using actual standards will say UIQ is slow and is just junk. And the specs are lower than "other" units, so it's got to be slower everywhere - stands to reason again. So that's just how it is, objectively.

So really, what's there to write about, other than the truth, untouched by facts or rational argument? Does nokia get any criticism on the intertubes, for example? I haven't seen anything, and no other bloggers or roaming investigators are trashing their units day in and day out - so that means the units are factually proven to be better than SE's units, although it's beaten by the hugely best- selling iPhone according to secret Apple sources. Again - stands to reason! Unquestionably.

Well, if Nokia claims to sell some 1 billon sets, praise all around, when sony says, then its like concentrate on improving. Good example of double standards.
I dont think 3.5 mm jack is the most important thing. How about telling Nokia to increase the speed of its slow responding N-Series?

I don't buy SE because they are low-end junk, for the most part. They look great, but if only they could match the insides with how the outsides look. Also, like others say, need a few more features - 3.5mm/usb, etc.

Nokia should take a page out of SE's book for the low-midrange, and SE should just take Nokia's whole book regarding high end handsets. SE is just down right horrid when it comes to making a premium solution. This is good for SE, but I don't see more people walking around with/talking about their phones -

I completely agree here, Stefan. The dumbphones are very nice, especially since they added the send and end keys in their new phones. However, UIQ is horrible... Also, the only brands I consider interesting are indeed Nokia and SE. Devices like W890i would have been really lovely if only it had 3.5mm port.

Would just think that they would be able to do big screened monsters.
