Sony Ericsson W890i shows up at FCCWe’ve already seen plenty of preview-pics of Sony Ericsson’s new Walkman phone, so it isn’t really surprising to see the Sony Ericsson W890i pop up on the FCC website. Still, it’s good to finally see this sleek, slim (12mm thin, to be exact) musicphone get the green-light from the US regulatory agency.

We know the Sony Ericsson W890i will be rocking a quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) radio with UMTS on the Euro-friendly 2100Mhz band. And, seeing as how this SE W890i is part of Sony Ericsson’s music-oriented lineup, the W890i will be packing Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP (for rockin’ out on wireless headphones), TrackID (to help you identify songs based on their audio-fingerprint), SensMe (for mood-based playlist creation), FM radio (with RDS), and a Memory Stick Micro card slot to expand storage.

There’s also a 3.2 megapixel camera and a front-facing video-call camera on the Sony Ericsson W890i Walkman Phone. You can be sure that the main-shooter on this handset won’t be up to CyberShot standards, but at least you won’t be left wanting for a decent camera when you need it.

Of course, standard 3.5mm headphone jack and USB ports are not going to make it into this little beauty.
