Palm Centro for AT&T looks real

Back in October, we reported that Palm Centro is coming to AT&T. Now we have somewhat more legit proof this may actually happen sooner rather than latter. Still, Sprint (NYSE: S)’s holding the exclusive deal with Palm (NSDQ: PALM), but that contract is about to expire, meaning we could see other carriers offering the stylish smartphone as well. And while we have some reserves the image above could be the work of the Photoshop master, something tells us other operators are eagerly waiting to repeat their Treo successes they’ve had “back in the days.” One thing is unclear though — we’re not sure AT&T (NYSE: T) will offer the device as Centro or as the Treo 500p. Something we’ll have to wait and see…

  1. AT&T Palm Centro says:

I was at AT&T yesterday to return a blackberry curve that I got on a whim 2 weeks ago and ended up hating. The salesman said he thought he might have something I would like and they had just got it in…it was a white palm centro with green keys. So I got the phone 4 days early and I love it!! The touch screen and stylus make it so easy to use. Also, it’s more like a phone than any other smartphone I have tried. I just love it!!!
