Use the iPhone v1.1.3 WebClips feature to create a photo album on your homescreen

Now this is one nifty way to use the iPhone v1.1.3’s WebClips feature. Flickr frequenter, DoctaBu, has figured out a way to fill his homescreen with thumbnail-photos of his friends and family – basically an entire homescreen page that serves as a WebClips photo-album.
DoctaBu created a customer webpage (wait, aren’t most webpages custom? whatever…) that he populated with pictures of his friends and family. He presumably navigated to his photo-filled webpage, zoomed into each image, and created a WebClip from each image.
We would take this creative use of WebClips one step further and have each image on the webpage link to another page with pictures of that particular individual. That way, clicking on one of the WebClips thumbnails would take you to a sub-album filled with pictures of that person.
Pretty cool. Easy, logical, and we can’t believe we didn’t think of this sooner.
