Motorola S9-HD adds high-def audio and more comfortable, noise-canceling ear buds on top of MOTOROKR S9

During the CES, Motorola has announced its latest Bluetooth headphones - S9-HD. Like the previous model - S9 - the new headphones keep the same (or at least very, very similar) shape, but also include the high-definition audio support, as well as ear buds that reduce background noise and improve comfort.

The way I see it, and I’m far from the audio expert, the S9-HD improve the single area that lacked in the original S9 (which I love BTW) — the quality of sound. Now, thanks to the high-definition acoustics from SRS WOW HD technology, even the audiophiles among us should be happy!
Want it? Sure you do. You’ll just have to wait for the Q2 2008, when the American handset maker said the new headsets will hit the streets.

Hopefully they will have also fixed the design flaw in that although the S9 headphones are touted as for the “active lifestyle” and said to be moisture and sweat resistant, one mediocre workout and the touch-sensitive buttons no longer work.
