Epocware releases 4 Duden dictionaries; German language students rejoice

Epocware has announced the release of 4 essential DUDEN dictionaries: Duden – German spelling dictionary (Duden - Die deutsche Rechtschreibung), Duden – German dictionary of synonyms (Duden - Das Synonymwörterbuch), Duden – German dictionary of foreign words (Duden - Fremdwörterbuch) and Duden – German explanatory dictionary (Duden - Deutsches Universalwörterbuch) are already available and cost 19,95, 21,95, 21,95, and 29,95 EUR respectively.

Naturally, Epocware’s powerful SlovoEd platform is running the show, hence the new dictionaries support the diverse range of mobile platforms: Symbian (S60 3rd Edition and UIQ 3.0), Windows Mobile (Pocket PC and Smartphone editions), Palm OS, Java and BlackBerry.

Last but not the least, new dictionary line also features word sound samples produced in the cooperation with ARD. It was produced by the most important German Television and Broadcast Company whose audio database is the reference for all news readers. In addition these audios are verified most thoroughly by the Duden editors of the following works: Duden – Die deutsche Rechtschreibung, Duden – Das Fremdwörterbuch and Duden – Deutsches Universalwörterbuch…
