Those who waited for Sony’s second try on “Personal Communicator” device, now’s you’re chance to grab one. The Mylo 2 is now available for $299.99. Expect WiFi connectivity, 3.5″ WVGA screen (800×480), full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, media player, Skype support, and 1 GB of internal storage memory that is further expandable with Memory Stick Duo/PRO Duo cards. We still don’t know which CPU Sony’s using nor how much RAM there are available. In addition, Bluetooth is not mentioned in the specs, which is a deal breaker for me as I won’t be able to connect my Bluetooth keyboard.
Still, some people — most probably young adults — will find the Mylo 2 useful for staying in touch with their friends and browse around the web while on the go. You can grab it in either white or black… or get the Nokia N800/N810 instead. ![]()
