Global provider of mobile messaging solutions Clickatell and online consumer advocate service Dontgo announced the launch of the new mobile customer service notification system to help companies maintain excellent customer service.
Using the service, Dontgo provides consumers with the power to easily send text messages directly from their mobile phones at the time of service. Consumers are encouraged to either complain about poor, or praise a participant company about extraordinary service using the same system. This enables organizations to listen and respond to complaints immediately – rather than after weeks of dissatisfaction.
And while we’re talking about participant companies, they are advertising the service in their retail outlets so that customers know they can provide feedback. Customers send the keyword “don’t” to a specific SMS short code “34040“, followed by the name of the company and their comment. Dontgo then sends the information via email to subscribers at a nominal cost per month. Non-subscribers are called and provided with alerts at no cost on the first occasion…
Now let’s see how the participant companies respond and whether they’ll be quick to improve the customer service. Those living in South Africa will be among the first ones to experience this live, as Dontgo has launched the service in the country… More information is available from Dontgo’s website.
