Police to use SMS to fight underage drinking

The police of St Joseph County (IN) plans to use SMS to crack down on underage drinking. The idea is to allow anyone to send anonymous text messages to police about local stores selling alcohol to kids who aren’t 21, and parties where underage kids are drinking.

The program will be launched before prom season begins with “targeted audience” among middle, high school and college age students. Not surprisingly, many local school administrators support the project.

According to Mishawaka High School Vice Principal, Jerome Caledrone, “It allows our kids another chance to say ‘I don’t want to be at this party if it’s going to be reported.’” Yeah sure, that’s exactly what the kids are thinking… ;)

yea… I tell you what happens….. the pissed off outcasts will report the parties to which they were not invited due to their lack of social status.

Hence all the geeks and freaks will become little Gestapo
    officers
