Japan’s communications ministry will start licensing mobile phone “sommeliers” to help consumers cope with complicated functions as mobile telephones become ever more advanced. The idea is to launch an exam to license specialists who sell mobile phones.
A ministry official commented the decision, “we hope they would be able to explain complicated functions and charge systems to consumers, much like wine sommeliers guiding you.”
Interesting idea. I wonder which country will be next to launch something similar. Korea, Finland, Sweden… What do you think?
