Firefox Mobile screenshotsMozilla’s recent announcement of an official Firefox Mobile development push gave Windows Mobile fans the world over a reason to celebrate. Unfortunately for Mozilla, Skyfire’s browser may just emerge as the browser of choice for Windows Mobile users seeking a more desktop-like browsing experience.

Still, Mozilla has launched their Firefox Mobile Wiki to give all of us a peak at what the Mozilla code-monkeys are brewing up. The new mobile browser will apparently be offered in touchscreen and non-touchscreen flavors.

The touchscreen variant of Firefox Mobile should feature an intuitive, familiar, tap-based (no stylus) interface that will require 1-2 taps to access the most common features. Non-touchscreen fans will be able to use a cursor to move around web-pages. But, from the looks of it, the touchscreen version is where it’s at.
