Sony Ericsson patents mobile phone with removable display

Sony Ericsson has filed a patent for “Detachable Housings for a Wireless Communication Device.” Basically you’re mobile’s screen can be detached from the actual device. Is this useful? I’m drawing an absolute blank here.

    Useful? That’s super cool. The removable display is probably a touch-screen phone itself, with its own little battery.

    Can’t wait for that phone! Removable display means there’s a connector (plug, jack), right? Which means you can connect there a cable and at the other end of the cable you can have… :idea:

    TV, projector, computer monitor! Two monitors!
