Jailbreakme.com updated to make iPhone v1.1.1 jailbreak simpler, one-click solution

We’d be willing to bet that most iPhone owners out there that keep up to date with the iPhone-related posts have already jailbroken their iPhone v1.1.1. Further, chances are even better that iPhone v1.1.1 users have jailbroken their handsets using the Jailbreakme.com web-based solution.

Now that the iPhone v1.1.3 jailbreak method is online and greatly simplified (thanks to the iJailbreakMobile application available on Installer.app), we’re willing to bet that many iPhone v1.1.3 owners will be looking to downgrade their handsets to v1.1.1 in preparation for a jailbroken v1.1.3 upgrade. Well, we’ve just got word that jailbreakme.com is helping to streamline the process of jailbreaking your v1.1.1 iPhone and updating to a jailbroken v1.1.2. Once you’ve downgraded to the iPhone v1.1.1 firmware and you’re ready to jailbreak the sucker, just head on over to jailbreakme.com (from your iPhone’s Safari browser) and click “Install AppSnapp.” The jailbreakme.com application now installs Oktoprep automatically, obviating the need to install the Oktoprep package prior to updating to the iPhone v1.1.2 firmware.

It’s a small update, but it makes life that much easier for enterprising iPhone fiddlers.
