Opportunities -People will forget about Svanberg's recent communication blunder so he can secure is Christmas bonus too!! -Walkman and Motorola logos could be merged -> producing 250M copies per year of one logo is several cents cheaper so everyone can point at the vast savings that such a merger would result in. More bonuses!! -Complementing on markets, production, design, tech.. and some other irrelevant areas Threats Culture - Talk about cultural clash. Why buy a failing company division? I think SE would be more successful on its own. I'm pretty sure it's the profit that counts, not the marketshare.
