The 5 megapixel, xenon flash equipped, GPS, WiFi, HSDPA monster is finally looking a bit more respectable.

Looks like we’re going to be seeing this announced at the Mobile World Congress!
Ok, I didn’t quite understand the specs…since its available only in the USA is that mean is has US 3G (AT&T 3G)

This is great news, as it looks much better in black. Too bad about the lack of 3G though…

The Black N82 is coming to the UK, I was playing with one just last week. It looks just as nice in the flesh as it does in the pictures
Stefan, i wasnt lazy and l clicked on the link, and read the “Included Accessories” and it says “128 MB Memory Card”, why so? Original N82 came with 2GB micro SD, i was expecting something similar if not better!

I think that’s fine, it reflects on the price in the end. Memory card prices drop very quickly, so they should just eclude them fully from the package. What’s 128MB worth right now: $1 or $2?
It’s a nice device but, I wouldn’t buy it. Why would they release it here first with no US 3G. Did they release the NAM edition of the N95 in Europe first. They play Americans for such fools.
And most of us live up to it. 
Someone will buy it because it’s black. Then the US 3G version will come out and they’ll take a loss trying to sell it to get that one.
Anyways, can’t blame them if they can do it.

I did click it, but I am a noob because i wasn’t sure what all the 15 different bands given were. I tried to compare it to the n95-3 specs but they were given in a different way. Thanks for the response.

It’s already been released in Hong Kong, so I assume it won’t be long before the rest of Asia follows suit.

This is available in Cambodia, and has been for about three weeks.
It retails at $460 USD at the official Nokia showroom.
There are a few differences (improvements) over the silver/titanium version, i.e. improved navigation on keypad, updated software, GPS tracker program bundled etc.
If you’re shopping for the N82, don’t buy the (outdated already!) silver version, because the black is an overall better phone, on a par with the N95 – 8Gb, but a lot smaller.
I can live with the smaller display.
