AT&T data network outage?

The network seems to be back up in Los Angeles. At least these outages are short-lived.
What’s this? Another outage for AT&T (NYSE: T)’s data network? We’ve been getting reports (confirmed on our end) of AT&T data blackouts in the Los Angeles area. It looks like the EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA networks are out of commission as of the time of this posting.
Anyone else having troubles pulling down data from AT&T? Leave a comment…
Data has been out roughly around 5 pm, so much for the Joiko hotspot app…lol.
Yes, we experience outages in Los Angeles and Anaheim! Very annoying!

How will I live without my data!? I’m going on a trip tomorrow morning for 2 days and I’m so use to having everything at my fingertips, it’s going to be annoying have to do stuff the old fashioned way. I need my instant gratification!
No EDGE up here in washington since at least 9pm PST, possibly longer. VERY frustrating! Will be calling AT&T tomorrow…
It came back in Seattle at about 1:00 AM on Wednesday. One curious thing happened to me during the “outage”, though. I own a Tilt. My Opera Mini wouldn’t work, my email wouldn’t work, my Google Maps was spotty and even my weather tab on the HTC Home was taking forever. But Pocket Internet Explorer (the useless one) was working.
they are installing the filters for nsa step by step, just be patient, they will be back to spy on, er, serve you, soon
Seattle and Portland, evening of 2/5. I even called AT&T data line support (Bothell, WA) and the guy had the gull to tell me there was nothing wrong with the data network.
Anyone still experiencing data blackouts?
All is good on my 8125 in Seattle and the 8525 in Portland, OR.

Edge was down in Orange County from around 6pm to 1am.
Been having issues in my local spot (north seattle) since early yesterday – but I suspect this is a tower issue, if I go over the hill all is well.
Down since at least 2/6 @ 5pm and still down 2/7 @ 2pm in “the valley”
Really? I have data access on my iPhone (so the EDGE network) in Woodland Hills
I still have data @ CSUN.
It hit the midwest and west today. I have service out of chicago, am in wyoming and have no email and sporadic internet. working a Blackjack II on 3G network.

San Francisco Bay area no ATT Edge service since 2am last night. Feb 9th.
February 10th – Edge network down in the Las Vegas area. It was also down (in the same area) on February 5th. Regular phone service quality also dropped tremendously since the last iPhone update. Not sure if it’s the update or if at&t is screwed up. (That wouldn’t surprise me nonetheless…)
They told me there is an outage for Maryland, I cant send or recieve txts, and now I cant recieve phone calls at all. All I can do is call out, and I am an ORIGINAL At&T customer, YES ORIGINAL, before cingular bought them out, and I am still on one of the best plans the original AT&T offered. I WILL NOT SWITCH TO CINGULAR BULL. I have been a customer for over 10 years, and I am so irate that no one over there knows about the old system, so when they try to help me, they royally mess up something else, I have trouble tickets in, and calls, chats, and e-mails, this is BS and they need to get back on the ball, or sell the company back to AT&T since they knew what they were doing, good customer service, and exceptional service all around, but know its crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Down again today… this is the first one in the Seattle area I have noticed, but usually not using my ATT Tilt during the times that others listed it.

I’m down in Seattle and I was counting on using my iPhone instead of a GPS to get around town.
Now I’m stuck looking up Maps online in the hotel. Arg.
It has been down in Seattle Since Friday Feb 22 in the morning and it is still down today.
Seattle’s EDGE network sounds like its having some issues
I’m in Maryland. Got off the phone w/ a customer service rep this afternoon – she confirmed there are Data network issues for Jersey, Maryland, parts of Pennsylvannia and Delaware. They anticipate having the issues resolved within 24-48 hours (who knows when that update was posted) The problems began here at the beginning of the week.

No 3G even for the phone in certain areas – drops to Edge network (much slower than it’s supposed to be, occasionally dropping into GSM). Data is running at dial-up speeds. (50kb download, 25 kb upload)
I’ve been googling “att outage” for about 2 hours now and have been getting intermittent SOS access on t-mobile’s network for about 3 hours. It’s a good thing my gf doesnt work late tonight and needs to talk to me to help stay awake on the ride home.. oh wait yes she does.. >:( Of course I don’t need a land line… hah hah.
We have never had trouble with AT&T until now and I have not had service since early 5:30am this morning and it is now 5:07pm here in Newark, Delaware. I’ll be lenient and patient and wait but I don’t know for how long.
EDGE seems to be down in portland as of the time of this post. I called a buddy and he is having the same problem on the other side of town. Lame sauce.
EDGE has been down in Yuma, Arizona for the last three days.

No calls in and out in Tucson, Arizona as of about 5 pm.
Data network unavailable in Detroit Michigan, at 11:40AM EST. Don’t know how long it’s been out or down and how large an area it effects. This means, cannot load email, do location searches, check the stock market, etc.
My service in Seattle has been completely out since Wed 2/5 evening around 10:30 PM. No phone, no data. Anybody know what’s up?
