3 Italia wins Gold at Future Mobile Awards

3 Italia have been selected by Juniper Research as winners of the Mobile TV category at this year’s Future Mobile Awards.

Here’s the crunch-data: ARPU for DVB-H subscribers is apparently 60% higher than for the market average in Italy - those are some GOOD numbers, and lend weight and credence to the assertion that Mobile TV IS a revenue-generator.

3 Italia’s CEO commented on the win, and within this comment came a statement about becoming an “integrated fixed-mobile” publisher - essentially hitting the convergence nail right on the head.
