Down on the news that Palm’s retail presence will be folding up like a weak poker player? Hopefully this notice will lift your spirits a bit.
It seems that Palm’s airport retail stores will not be closing its doors after all. While Palm will still be closing down other retail locations, the airport locations are re-branded stores run by Airport Wireless. That means that Palm has no ownership rights over the airport retail locations, and so can’t shut them down (there would be no point, it wouldn’t save them money anyway).
