That’s right, you’re brand-spankin’ new iPhone 16GB is jailbreak-able. We’ve already covered instructions on how to jailbreak iPhones with v1.1.1/v1.1.2/v1.1.3 firmwares, so all you have to do is downgrade that your 16GB iPhone’s v1.1.3 firmware to v1.1.1 and jailbreak accordingly.
Find the instructions <a href=”http://www.intomobile.com/2008/11/23/iphone-dev-team-does-it-again-pwnage-tool-22-jailbreaks-iphone-22-os.html”>here</a>

Will why wouldnt a 16gb iphone be jailbreakable if it uses 1.1.3 firmware!??
As far as jailbreaking, you need to start with a jailbroken v1.1.2 or 1.1.1 firmware before you update to the jailbroken v1.1.3 firmware. You cannot go from an OTB (out of the box) iPhone v1.1.3 to a jailbroken iPhone v1.1.3 – you MUST downgrade/jailbreak first.
As far as unlocking is concerned, there is no unlocking method for the updated bootloader which newer iPhones are equipped with.
My point was a 16Gb iphone is no different to an 8gb iphone (apart from the memory of course) – same firmware same methof of unlocking..
sorry WillPark but there is an unlock solution for the bootloader 4.6 and its free from http://www.iclarified.com – just search for ziphone and you will find what your looking for!
By the way using ziphone doesnt require you to downgrade your firmware you just use the instructions to unlock, downgrade the bootloader (by software) and activate youtube – best all in one unlocker!
