Nokia Research Center working on Debian based Linux phone

Mobile Monday Boston is lucky to have Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s Research Center close by, but this sounds like something you wouldn’t want to tell the world. They [NRC] is apparently working on a mobile phone platform derived from the Debian Linux distribution.
Interesting. Maybe Nokia could also research how to get my debian-based Eee working with my N73! ;o)
NRC have come up with some great stuff though, Sports Tracker for one!
