Motorola and RIM battling it out in court over patent dispute

Motorola is claiming that RIM is violating some of their patents with the 8800 class of devices and the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Enterprise Server Software, RIM is claiming that Motorola (NYSE: MOT) charges way too much to license their patents and that they have infringed on some of their patents as well. Legal battles are never fun and I didn’t think Motorola, with their bleeding handset division, would be dumb enough to risk whatever money they have left on something like this.
