Mobile phones coming to Pyongyang, North Korea

People in Pyongyang, North Korea will finally be able to use mobile phones in the country’s capital. According to The Tokyo Shimbun, the ban on the use of mobile phones will be lifted in April in Pyongyang, and we guess/hope other cities will also get the coverage in the near future.
Earlier in January, we reported Orascom Telecom got the contract to build a mobile network in the communist country. It’s about time to see North Korea joining the mobile revolution. Their hi-tech brothers from the south could certainly help them along the way…
