AT&T updates its website to deliver “fresher, faster and friendlier shopping experience”

AT&T (NYSE: T) revamped its website to boost online sales, while making it easier and friendlier for the users at the same time. The updated website is certainly more appealing to the eyes, thanks to the “expressive use of photography” and vibrant colors.

Few of the features that are now available at www.att.com:

• Bundling – better control and more information throughout the ordering process (”Learn More” pop-up windows).
• Click-to-Chat. If you stall for more than two minutes during the ordering process, customer support representative will contact you automatically to assist/annoy you.
• Customer Reviews and Forums. Savvy buyers can read reviews posted by other customers, or seek advice from AT&T or other people about wireless services and devices through Forums.
• eRepair. Located at http://repair.att.com, the eRepair tool helps customers troubleshoot a problem or, if needed, schedule an appointment with an AT&T technician.
• eBilling. Convenient way to look up account information or pay bills online at anytime.
• AT&T Smart Limits. Parental control services allow parents to set limits on children’s phones, control content or block channels as needed.

And that’s about it. Again, I really like the new colors — somehow they remind me on Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE)’s website… Full release is available from here.
