Few people are claiming HSPA, EVDO Rev B. already gives what WiMAX promises now. Few others say WiMAX is not cheap which is the whole point why WiMAX was born (to be cheaper alternative). Other&#039;s say Intel is pumping money into the WiMAX to build an ecosystem. Time only will tell whats gonna happen.

Sprint is going ahead with Xohm. Wonder why AT&amp;T, Verizon didn&#039;t take the WiMAX route and adopted LTE. 
They are all OFDMA anyways. I would imagine WiMAX is a buzz word that was hyped by Intel, Samsung etc. I wonder why clearwire which has Wimax networks is not picking up rapidly and why is it taking so much time for Sprint to deploy Wimax if its already here?</description>
