T-Mobile BlackBerry 8820 possibly delayed

And here we were getting all set and ready for T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) to drop the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8820 on us Yanks in less than two weeks. We should have known better than to expect the T-Mobile HotSpot @Home-compatible handset to launch without any possible delays. Boy Genius just recently led us to believe that the T-Mobile BlackBerry 8820 would be bringing all that HotSpot @Home goodness to the US on March 5th. But, now we’re hearing that the WiFi and GPS toting smartphone could be delayed. The “TBD” launch date could be T-Mobile’s reaction to the leaked release window, or it could be a sign of legit delays.

Either way, we can’t wait for to get our GPS and WiFi fix with the BlackBerry 8820 from T-Mobile.
