It’s hard enough trying to make it big in the music business. And it doesn’t help that people are moving away from traditional media (CDs) and opting for digital music downloads.

So, Danish music-poetry duo Bo hr Hansen & Nils Lassen , has come up with a novel way to try and sell more CDs. They are offering any fan that buys their CD an invitation to listen to a live concert on their phone. Presumably, a mobile phone is acceptable, but you had better make sure you’re using your “unlimited” side of the wireless plan, otherwise you can be sure that the concert will cost you a pretty penny.

Live concert on mobile phoneTo get your very own invite to the music-poetry duo Bo hr Hansen & Nils Lassen concert, simply buy their CD, take a cameraphone picture of yourself with the album, then MMS the picture to the band. Once they discover your picture, the band will send you an invitation to listen to one of their live concerts.

Of course, you can be sure that the concert won’t be in stereo and it won’t have that “live” feel. Still, it’s a nice gimmick to sell more CDs.
