Hi I have a jail broken iphone and need to know if I can just power off remove the sim card use it in another phone and then if I put it back in the iphone will it still work?

Put your iPhone into DFU restore mode by holding down the power and home buttons. Restore the iPhone through iTunes and go with the v1.1.4 firmware.

Jailbreak using ZiPhone 3.0.

Hi, i just used ijailbreak to upgrade my 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 and after all the downloads and patching the phone rebooted and now its stuck on the screen that tells me to connect to itunes. what should my next step be?

I have an ipod touch running firmware 1.1.3

I tried to jailbreak the ipod using ZiphoneWin-2.4. while doing so the screan of my ipod wen all black with white writing going down the ipod. sort of like coding.

I am unable to resolve the problem and could anyone please help me or tell me what to do.

Any help appreciated.

when ever i press free my iphone on ibrickr my iphone gets a yellow triangle then the backgound turns blue, then a hole bunch of worlds and letters scroll down the screen. what do i do?

But don’t you have to downlaod all kinds of stuff in order to finally get ijailbreak to work. I mean you have to downgrade to 1.1.1 then enter URL prefs: and ijailbreak.com before you can run ijailbreak 0.5.2?

Hello Everyone this is for people having trouble unlucking and jailbreaking your iphone. I know I’m not the original poster of this blog but I found a method on You Tube to jailbreak and unlock any version iphone with any BL. The newest jailbreak method is from Zibri and it’s called Ziphone 2.3. This method took me less then 10 minutes to do and is the fucking shit. I was trying to find a easy way like all of you are doing and I tried the ijailbreak.com but I couldn’t get phone functionality. I’m telling you with this new Ziphone jailbreak all you need to do is connect your iphone and make sure you have the updated restored version of 1.1.3 open Ziphone click a few things and start. THAT”S ALL!!! You’ll have a jailbroken phone in less then 10 mins.

My phone is bricked after I run iJailbreakMobile so I wanted to try the manual method… well, after I downgrade to 1.1.1 and jailbreak (all works great), I cannot “Navigate to Tweaks 1.1.1″… I don’t have it listed among the apps on the Installer App.
So what do I do?

tried to do a full restore to 1.1.3 to start over.
no go. iphone screen says “Incorrect SIM
insert an unlocked and valid SIM card to activate iphone”
itunes says sim card is not installed or pin locked
any ideas??

my screen shows

could not complete step #16 “Navigate to “General” > “Auto-lock” and choose “Never”

I tried to restore to my factory settings but I got an error saying ” The iphone “untitled playlist” could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1602).
What can I do now?

If you are running into problems and need an emergency fix, I suggest a FULL RESTORE of the iPhone. iTunes will require a “Restore and Update” to v1.1.3, but if you really need the iPhone functional, then that’s your best bet. You can always downgrade and retry the jailbreak.

Keep in mind, if you run into problems with the iJailbreakMobile method, try the manual method. It’s more involved and requires some Terminal work, but it makes a provision to get phone functionality up and running once v1.1.3 is jailbroken. To use the manual method, simply ignore the sections pertaining to iJailbreak – IGNORE THE ITALICIZED SECTIONS

Could you please help me out? I’ll pay you if I have to but I need to figure out why my phone won’t send or receive calls. I also can’t use my vocemail feature on my iphone. I followed all the instructions in your jailbreak v1.1.1 and the ijailbreakmobile to upgrade my v1.1.1 to 1.1.3 and now my phone is basically a fancy Ipod. My service carrier is ATT and at the top left all it says is no service. How do I fix my iphone so I can make calls and have it working properly like before I jailbroke it. I beg of you or anyone who reads this I need serious help. I’ve been able to make up a story for my boss that a cell tower in my area is down and i can’t use my phone but he wont believe much longer. I’ll pay a generous amount to anyone who can help me fix my phone to send/receive calls like it was before I jailbroke it.

Robert I think you and I are having the same problem! Did you go through the whole process and when the phone rebooted after installing ijailbreak 1.1.1 to upgrade 1.1.3 it asked you to restore to your original iphone seetings and now you can’t make any calls? Everything seems fine but i can’t call anyone or receive calls. I also can’t use my voicemail section hence the not being able to send/receive calls. WILL if you could please help Robert and I we would greatly appreciate it I need my phone for work and I’m nake without it right now. My boss is going to kill me if I can’t send/receive calls. If there’s a way to restore to original seetings and restore my phone back so it will work I need to know. I desperately need help!!!

I finally got everything downloaded on my iphone. Thank you for that but now I can’t make a phone call or receive a call. Why is that? It’s important I figure this out by tomorrow morning for work.
Please help ASAP.
