Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 delayed to Q1 2009?

We can hardly confirm anything — Sony Ericsson (NYSE: SNE) is naturally quite about rumors — but Semcblog posted some very interesting information from the official Sony Ericsson website. Apparently, the Swedish-Japanese handset maker will take more time than originally envisioned to release the XPERIA X1 smartphone. According to the mentioned blog, we’ll have to wait for the first quarter of next year in order to buy the XPERIA X1. And while we’re kinda sad to learn this — even though this is everything bu the official information — I would remind you we’ve waited for quite some time to see the P990i released. I don’t mind waiting bit more as long as the final product provides me with great out-of-box experience. If you remember, initially the Sony Ericsson P990i had a number of stability issues which even made some people stop buying SE phones.
