Motorola Z8 finally gets a firmware update

The long awaited (or not) firmware update for Motorola (NYSE: MOT)’s “media monster” is alive now. The American handset maker has been shipping updated firmwares on new handsets for a while now, but the early Z8 owners were left to deal with somewhat buggy software. Now, they can update their smartphones and, we guess, make them more stable. We’ve no idea what’s changed/updated, but as always – we advise users to have the latest firmware version.

In order to update the Z8, you’ll need to download Motorola’s software update tool. Once you install it, connect your phone using USB cable (put the Z8 in “USB Modem” modem) and you should see an updated firmware available. Good luck!
