MySpace working on native iPhone application

Remember those select few developers that got an early seed of the official Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) iPhone SDK? Right, those developers are presumably well ahead of the native iPhone development curve, and we’re hearing that MySpace is one of them.
The too-popular (How can it be too popular? Have you seen the cluttered mess that is MySpace lately?) social network is working on a native MySpace application for the iPhone. Details on the native MySpace application are slim at this point, but rest assured that MySpace will be launching an Apple-sanctioned application that’s sure to kill a good deal of productive hours from your day.

Video and music playback via MySpace is not likely, as those features require Flash support. But, you never know, Apple and Adobe could announce some Flash-support at the iPhone Software Roadmap event in a couple days. Let’s just hope that Apple or MySpace isn’t going to be charging for the native iPhone application.
Stay tuned…

This SUCKS!!!! I just tried to go onto myspace on my iPhone and it has re-directed me to this mobile version of the site. The whole point of buying the iPhone over the other phones is so that we can view the ACTUAL WEBSITES like we do on our computers. Whoever is doing this- myspace or Apple- PLEASE STOP!!! The mobile sites are for inferior phones, and NOT NEEDED for the iPhone. I will NEVER use the mobile apps on the iPhone.
