Nokia N78 without WiFi spotted on FCC

It seems Nokia will be launching the crippled version of the N78 smartphone at some point in the future. Apparently, the N78 without WiFi support has been spotted at the FCC’s website. And while we think there could be market for a decent camera smartphone without WiFi (look at the N73), somehow we don’t fully understand why the Finish giant bothered pushing the device with non-American 3G radios and without WiFi through FCC.

Anyway, like it or not, we may see the WLAN-less N78 hitting the markets later in the year. Our U.S. readers, look away — you don’t want this N78 for sure.

UPDATE: The Nokia N78 with U.S. 3G frequencies was spotted at the FCC’s website!
