China Postel has committed to purchasing around $2 Billion worth of Nokia (NYSE: NOK) products for the year 2008. Assuming an N95 is around $600 that is around 3.33 million units. Not bad. Last year however that number was $2.5 Billion, so … what gives?

Thats greate hope AT&T do the same
Well last year they buy for 2.5 billion but this order 2 billion dollar is only the start of 2008. The year have 12 months…China Postel is expected to purchase mobile devices valued at approximately USD 2 billion from Nokia in 2008. In addition, both parties have agreed to strengthen strategic ties, especially with regard to channel development, resource investment, and marketing management.
What gives? Here’smy guess:
Lets guess they always buy 5 million phones.
In 2007, 5 million phones cost 2.5 billion.
In 2008, 5 million phones cost 2 billion.
