AAA Mobile now available on BlackBerry 8130 and 8830 smartphones

We’ve already covered AAA’s mobile offering in the past. Now they’ve announced that users of the popular BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8130 and 8830 smartphones can also use their service, whether they are AAA members or non-members. As with the standard Java ME-based version, the RIM-made device owners can also receive visual and audible (turn-by-turn) directions to any travel destination in the U.S., locate and find out more about AAA Approved POIs such as Diamond Rated hotels and restaurants, and search more than 100,000 locations that offer “AAA Show Your Card & Save” member savings. In addition, AAA members can connect to AAA’s reliable roadside assistance service in case they experience vehicle difficulties… All this is available for for a monthly subscription price of $9.99.
