Speakerphone - Auto On v1.2 turns on speakerphone automaticallySome people just don’t like having their handset smeared on the side of their face. And, speakerphone is the most convenient way to go truly hands-free with your phone calls without having a Bluetooth headset stuck to your ear. So, for all you out-loud conversation lovers, there’s a piece of software for your Windows Mobile smartphone that will automatically turn on speakerphone every time you answer or make a call.

Speakerphone – Auto On v1.02 is a WinMo application that runs in the background and makes sure that your speakerphone turns on as soon as you answer an incoming call. There’s even a setting that turns on the speakerphone when you place an outgoing call. The speakerphone feature is especially handy when you need to take a call while charging or syncing your device. That USB cable can make it awkward to keep the handset comfortably on your ear.

You’ll need to have Windows Mobile 5.0 or Windows Mobile 6.0 to get down with Speakerphone – Auto On v1.02′s speakerphone action. That pretty much covers all Windows Mobile devices out there that aren’t yet ancient. There’s also a bit of registry-editing required, so take that into consideration (instructions on the link).
